Glimpses of RAJPSYCON 2024

About Us

IPS Rajasthan is the state chapter of the Indian Psychiatric Society. It is a government-registered society (41/jhu/2013-14/jhunjhunu).
In 1979, The first annual conference was organized by Dr. V. K. Razdan with the support of contemporary visionary and zealous Psychiatrists of Rajasthan in Jodhpur. So far, carrying forward that legacy, 39 annual conferences have been successfully organized by the year 2024.

The society has been organizing yearly conferences and CMEs. These conferences and CMEs comprise themed symposiums, guest lectures, workshops, and academic activities. Academic activities include paper, poster presentation, and encouraging interest in research in members and especially post-graduate students. There is a tradition of designated awards for these activities. With these activities all these years, IPS Rajasthan is committed to creating a healthy environment for sharing information, enhancing knowledge, and the growth of each individual associated with it is assured. Ultimately aiming towards creating more awareness among the people of Rajasthan and providing them with better mental health care.

Dear Colleagues,
It is my great privilege and honour to lead IPS, Rajasthan chapter, for the year 2024 as president. I thank you all for your support. The honourable office bearers of 2023 and earlier, have done commendable job. I congratulate the office bearers of 2023, for the successful term, and will try to give my best to carry forward the legacy.
For the year 2025, I request support of each and every member of the society to come forward and give their significant contribution in academics and other activities of the society in addition to the essential clinical work.
Let us all work together and make IPS, Rajasthan chapter, a unit that by and large, amelioration of the mental health in our state.

It is my great privilege and honour to serve as General Secretary of IPS, Rajasthan chapter, for the year 2024. I thank you all for your support. I will try my best to carry forward the sincerity of the previous office bearers, and give my contribution in making 2025 another successful year of our society.

Medical field is a field of constant growth and evolution. I request you all to give your support and contribution in learning and growing together, moving forward in direction of a society with better mental health. Let us all achieve new milestones in academic, social, research aspects.
